I started from Arquata Scrivia at eleven. Five hours later I arrived in Lugano. I checked into a cheap hotel that a receptionist of i told me. But the charge is 50F. Prices are high in Switzerland.
I bought a road map and had light supper after I withdrew money with a cash card. I went to Casino, because I wanted to get materials for Travelog. And I earned about 100Fr.
I went hotel triumphantly as a successful man. But... I am 100Fr short! I pocketed money because it was too much trouble. This action proved a handicap, I lost 100Fr. "OH MY BUDDHA!"
05/15 Serch skiing ground. Lugano/HOTEL Garni BESSO/0km
I stayed more a night because it was rainy.
I serched skiing ground because I want to go skiing. I went tourist infomation and asked. A kind lady called some towns expect to do. But skiing grounds were closed except for one. The one is answered nobody.
I came back hotel and asked a reception man (He is very kindry!) to call the one. A result was "open". It seems that there are a lot of snow. The town is Engelberg.
Tommrow I will go there. I want that roads isn't closed by snow.
05/16 One and Only Kandersteg/Camping Rendez-vous/205.4km
In the first, I went to Bellinzona. And I confirmed traffic conditions on information.
But they were tragic ones. She said "A tunnel of autostrada is open. But routes except autosurada are impossible by snow." So I went to railway station, I asked a staff the way to carry by train. She tell me a way. It is to carry from Goppenstein to Kandersteg by train.
Therefore I took a detour. I crossed Italy and went to Goppenstein.
The time required of train are only fifteen minutes. But this route was one and only for me.
I arrived in Kandersteg and camped on a campsite of scenic beauty.
05/17 Engelberg Engelberg/HOTEL MARO/150.3km
Traffic signs of Switzerland are very easy to understand. I arrived in Engelberg without lost my way.
Tomorrow I'm going to ski at Mt.Titlis.
